Tremolo Single-Sided Echo 32 Harmonica
15-61320 Hohner 2309/32/C
The ever-popular tremolo harmonica for folk songs and golden oldies.
The Tremolo harmonica’s distinguishing feature is that it has two rows of reeds for each note, with one tuned slightly sharp and the other slightly flat. This provides a unique wavering or warbling sound created by the two reeds being slightly out of tune with each other, and the difference in their subsequent waveforms interacting with each other. These so called 2-voice instruments are ideally suitable for traditional folk music.
The Echo 32 has 16 notes (8 blow and 8 draw), which run in a double row of reeds for a great tremolo sound. Unlike a chromatic or 10-hole diatonic harmonica, the blow and draw reeds are in separate reed chambers to each other.
